Welcome to Child Nutrition Services!

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Summer Food Program

Hunger doesn't take a summer vacation.  Please spread the word about the dates and times of food delivery.  It is all free to anyone 18 and younger.  If you are interested in helping, they do need a couple more volunteers - they can work as many or as few days as they want. Time commitment is approximately 2 hours to pick up meals deliver them to two locations in either southern or western Lewis Co. Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
